Mimi Staneva was born in Bulgaria. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Sofia, in the class of Prof. Stoian Stoianov and Teofan Sokerov. Since 1999 she lives and works in Vienna. Since 2016 Mimi is represented by the Nicholas Treadwell Gallery.
